Attendance - Planned Absences

Students who know in advance that they will be missing school need to complete and submit a Pre-Planned Absence Form and turn it into the School Office at least one school day before the absence. Students are encouraged to submit the form as many days in advance as possible. Forms are available in the School Office or can be downloaded/printed from the FVL website.

Senior Portraits - due 10/31

Yearbook planning is already underway, and we need your senior photos! Please schedule your senior portrait sitting this summer so that the 10/31 deadline can be met. Carefully read these guidelines and share this document with your photographer.

2019-20 Required Forms for All Students

With your student, log in to Skyward Family Access and click the link to "Online Forms" in the center announcement section or the left column. Follow the prompts to complete the FVL Handbook Agreement. This must be completed prior to the first day of sports tryouts/practice for fall athletes OR by 8/19, whichever comes first. Contact Heather Knoll with questions.

Application for Reduced Cost Lunch

FVL and Aramark offer reduced lunch prices. To see if you qualify, fill out this form. Students will not receive a reduced price lunch until the form is processed.

FVL Leadership Transition

Principal Granberg has moved to his new role at Grace in Action. In late May, the FVL Board of Regents called Mr. Alan Nolte to serve as FVL's Interim Principal for 2019-2020. He will be assisted by Director of Mission Advancement Jeff Loberger as they oversee different aspects of the high school. In the meantime, the Regents have appointed a special committee to bring a proposal on FVL's future leadership structure. The goal is to have a recommendation ready in August so the Regents can bring any needed proposals to the FVL General Board in September. Parents with school-related questions are encouraged to contact Mr. Nolte. A short video explaining this transition is posted on FVL's YouTube channel.

Dress Code and School Supplies

To help families with their summer shopping, the FVL Dress Code has been updated and posted. Note that several changes have been made to the dress code. Please contact Jeff Uhlenbrauck with any questions.

Winter School Closure Information for Parents

When experiencing our more extreme winter weather, Fox Valley Lutheran High School follows a process for deciding if school will be open, closed, or have a 2-hour delay. We serve a very large geographical area, and weather/road conditions can be noticeably different across the region, so some decisions we make may not “fit” the weather/road conditions in your area.

Convenient Payment Access

You now have handy access to e-Funds and FACTS by way of the home screen of the app. A Payments link has been added under the Parent Announcements section (image is below).
