"My best memories that I have at FVL are all of the blood drives. For the past three years, I have been a part of the blood drive committee and have seen firsthand just how important donating blood is."
Emily Lillo -- St. Paul, Stephensville
Emily plans on attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to study Secondary Education. She is excited for the opportunity to explore the Twin Cities, as she sees herself living near a large city in the future (with a husband, cats, and corgi!). She aspires to be a history teacher at a public high school.
Favorite Bible Passage -- "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." -- Galatians 2:20
Best memory from FVL -- "My best memories that I have at FVL are all of the blood drives. For the past three years, I have been a part of the blood drive committee and have seen firsthand just how important donating blood is."
Teachers who made an impact -- "Mr. Neujahr has been my music teacher since fifth grade. If It would not have been for him, I would never have switched to bassoon and would have missed out on countless opportunities."
"The other teacher who has had a major impact on me is Mrs. Gilmet. She recommended that I be a delegate for Badger Girls State and the Girls Grantmaking Project run by the Women's Fund of the Fox Valley Region. She also asked if I would be willing to tutor, which is one of the reasons why I switched my intended major to teaching."
God's blessings, Emily! #FutureFriday
