Oct. 19-21 Weekend Results --
- Soccer Regional Finals vs Freedom -- Win, 3-0
Playing in 30 mile an hour wind, the Foxes came out on top 3-0 to claim the regional championship! Dylan Blum scored two goals, and Lucas Huang scored one. The defense held Freedom to only two shots on the goal.
The boys will take on their first sectional matchup against #7 seed Xavier, who upset #2 Notre Dame last week. The game will be played at USA Sports Complex on Thursday, 10/25. Time TBD.
- Cross Country Sectionals at Kiel --
The cross country team battled temperatures in the 30's, strong winds, and snow squalls at their sectional meet this year.
As a team, the boys took 5th, and the girls took 8th. Individually, Anika Homan came in 9th overall for the girls and claimed the last qualifying spot for individual state! For the boys, Caleb Zernicke missed the last qualifying spot by only a couple seconds.
The State meet will take place on Saturday, 10/27 at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids. Anika will run at 3:05 PM. There will be vans going to the meet. Please contact one of the coaches if you plan to attend. There is no parking near the golf course. There is a shuttle service and a $6 entrance fee for the meet.
- Football Playoff Level 1 at Notre Dame -- Loss, 35-17
After the first quarter, the Foxes were up 10-7 against the Tritons, but were unable to keep up the offensive pace. Andrew Martin scored a 31-yard field goal and Sam Steigenberger received a 64-yard pass from Andrew Reader in the first quarter. Steigenberger had another long reception in the third, scoring on a 61-yard pass.
- Volleyball Regional Finals at Little Chute -- Loss, 3-0
The Foxes battled against a challenging opponent on Saturday, falling 25-12, 25-14, and 25-18.
