Fox Valley Lutheran HS

Welcome to Jeffry and Monica Uhlenbrauck, who will be serving at FVL for the 2018-19 school year! Jeff will be serving as Assistant Principal, overseeing student life, and advising Student Council. He will also teach one section of History. Before coming to FVL, Jeff served at Illinois Lutheran High School. Over 24 years, he had taught social studies, PE, math, and religion; coached soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball; supervised Student Council; and served as Dean of Student Life.

Meanwhile, Monica will serve as the International Program Coordinator, as Laura Gucinski transitions to Guidance Counselor. Monica began her time in the ministry at St. John's in Libertyville, IL, and then Illinois Lutheran, where she taught religion, math, and served as International Coordinator.

Home Church: St. Peter, Appleton -- Jeff was baptized and confirmed there, and his father, Royal, taught for many years.

Favorite Bible Passage:
Jeff: Proverbs 3:5 -- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
Monica: Acts 20:24 -- "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace."

Jeff: Loves anytime he can get on the golf course, time spent fishing, and playing games with the family
Monica: Loves being outside, any type of DIY, and time spent with family.

"We are both excited to be a part of the growing ministry here at FVL," Jeff said. "To be able to work with so many young Christians and share the Gospel is truly exciting."
