Reward Offered

Despite all the helpful potential leads over the last few weeks and months, we have still been unable to catch the person responsible for the damage done to our football, soccer and practice fields.  Please continue to keep an eye out for any information that could lead to the arrest of this individual.  The $10,000 reward is still in place.

Work will begin shortly on repairing the fields.  This is a major project that will take some time to complete.  We hope to have all the fields ready to go for the Spring athletic season of 2019.  That obviously means this Fall we will not be able to use the fields.  Our football and soccer teams will have to hold all their “home” games off campus.

Location of Fall Home Games and Thank You!

We are very grateful to live in an area where so many others are willing to help out in any way they can.  While searching for fields we could use, we received many offers of help from local high schools.  In talking with Athletic Director’s from other schools about how they could help us, many of them have said, “We know you’d do the same for us”.  While it’s very nice to have that reputation in the Valley, and I pray we would be willing to help out if needed, these schools are actually doing it.  A big “thank you” to all the schools who offered to help.

We have settled on two schools who will host our varsity football games.  We will be starting the football season one day early on August 16th.  We will be playing Clintonville at Kaukauna High School.  Kaukauna will also host our games on September 21st (Homecoming) and September 28th (Senior Night).  The game versus Denmark on September 7th will be held at Appleton North.  JV1 and JV2 games throughout the season will be held at Xavier Middle School (the old FVL).  Again, we sincerely thank these three schools for reaching out to us and their willingness to help us out.  Each of them has offered their services without charging us rental fees.  We simply have to cover the cost of lights and maintenance.  What an incredible community we live in!

We’d also like to thank Scheels USA Youth Sports Complex for their willingness to host our Varsity and JV soccer games this Fall.  This works out very nicely since it is located a relatively short distance from the high school.
