The boys' track team tied for 4th place at last night's invitational. Last night, the boys' track team competed in their first meet of the season! Overall, the boys' team tied for 4th with 30 points--out of 25 competing schools! The boys scored in a variety of events:
Coach Matt Koepsell has decided to step down as the head of the basketball program at FVL. After 28 years of coaching, 15 as head boys' basketball coach at Fox Valley Lutheran, Coach Matt Koepsell has decided to step down as the head of the basketball program. Fox Valley Lutheran would like to thank Coach Koepsell for his many years of faithful service and dedication to the program.
FVL alumnus Brandon Wichman, 23, has already written three devotional and prayer books. Featured in the March 8 edition of the "Freedom Pursuit" is Brandon Wichman, a 2013 graduate of Fox Valley Lutheran High School!
The FVL Construction Cohort is featured on this month's leadership board! Not only is the Let the Children Come building expansion a blessing for future FVL students, but it also provides a unique learning opportunity for current students.
The leads in FVL's Children's Theatre production of "Snow White" This month's leadership board features the leads in FVL's Children's Theatre production of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the Black Forest!" More than one child came to the performance dressed as the titular heroine, and attendees of all ages enjoyed this new take on the classic story. We thank the Lord--and Greg--for helping us this year in teaching and coaching. He has been, and remains, a great blessing to our ministry. Check out the results from Monday's math meet! FVL took 1st among the small schools on Monday's math meet, scoring 187 points! Out of all 6 schools participating, FVL received the 2nd highest team score and are currently 2nd place out of all the FVML Member small schools.
Check out the results from the VEX competition at MSOE! Teams from FVL competed in the 2018 Wisconsin VRC High School State Championship over the weekend at MSOE, and team BlitzBotz (5062A) was a tournament finalist! The BlitzBotz took second place in the tournament and also came away with the title Robot Skills Champion, which qualifies them for the World Championship! This is the fifth year in a row an FVL team has qualified for the VEX World Champsionship! The World Championship will take place April 25-28 (Wednesday-Saturday) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
Spring is almost here, and that means graduation is in sight. Our seniors are making plans for the future and reflecting on their time at FVL. We owe a lot to our seniors, for the way they conducted themselves as leaders and representatives of their school and their Savior. We'll be featuring a few faces from the class of 2018; we certainly wish them luck in all their future endeavors.
Members from the FVL robotics team visited St. Peter Freedom today! 3rd graders had the opportunity to program and calibrate their own tiny robot. The 3rd grade class at St. Peter Appleton-Freedom got to learn all about robots today from STEM Academy Director Nathan Nolte and two members of FVL's VEX robotics team!
Check out the results from the boys' basketball game against Oconto Falls! The boys' basketball season ended last night when they fell to Oconto Falls 65-52. Although the Foxes were able to pace the Panthers in the second half, they couldn't overcome the 11 point deficit from the first half. Stephen Baehman led the charge with 20 points.
FVL hosted the sub-district forensics meet last night; check out how their team performed! FVL hosted the sub-district forensics competition last night. In order to advance to the district competition, these students had to score 16 or higher in at least two rounds, and the entire FVL team advanced!

Coming off a win against Wittenberg-Birnamwood, the girls' basketball team faced Wrightstown in the regionals championship. The Foxes had fallen to the Tigers twice during the regular season, and last night, the Foxes lost a close game 64-50.
Congratulations to our girls' basketball team on their victory tonight against Wittenberg-Birnamwood 42-25! They will play tomorrow night for the regional final vs. Wrightstown (at Wrightstown). Game begins at 7:00.
