FVL is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to start immediately. This person will report directly to our Facilities Manager and work with our Custodial Supervisor. The position is responsible for all maintenance inside of the building and will be expected to help, as needed, with some custodial tasks. The job description is here. Questions? 2018 Senior Awards

Check out the seniors who received grants and scholarships last night! Last night was FVL's 2018 Awards Night, where seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 received recognition for their accomplishments and scholarships.

Trap shooting - Week 3 Results

The FVL trap shooting team is still in first place after 3 weeks of competition! After three weeks of competition, the FVL trap shooting team still remains in first place by a substantial margin, with 7,312 points!

Louisa Marxen - NEC Runner of the Year

Louisa Marxen has been named the NEC Runner of the Year! Louisa Marxen was named the North Eastern Conference Runner of the Year! She earned 1st Team All-Conference in four events -- the 100 m dash, 200 m dash, 4x100 m relay, and long jump. All four events were also NEC records. Congratulations Louisa!

2018 State Solo & Ensemble Results

FVL received 5 "II" and 16 "I." The woodwind and string choir also received an Exemplary Performance Recognition Award! FVL received a total of 5 "II" and 16 "I" for the day.

Trap Shooting Results

The FVL trap shooting team is ranked first after 2 weeks of competition! After two weeks of competition, the FVL trap shooting team is ranked in first place with a total of 4,871 points! The team also had their first perfect round of 25 straight. Stay tuned for further updates from this week.

Teacher Appreciation Week - Steve Granberg

Thank a teacher this week! FVL's principal Mr. Granberg has made a significant impact on his students. Today marks the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week! This week, we'll be taking a moment to recognize the FVL faculty members who work tirelessly to not only instruct their students and increase their knowledge, but to help prepare them for lives of service and eternity.

2018 Track and Field LIT Results

The track and field teams competed at the LIT on Friday; both teams took first place! The boys' and girls' track teams competed at the annual LIT meet against six other area Lutheran high schools. Both teams came in first place, the boys with 200 points and the girls with 201 points! The night was marked by numerous personal records and season records:

MLC 2018 Thankathon

Members of the FVL family received shout outs at MLC's 2018 Thankathon. In honor of MLC Day, students from Martin Luther College shared shouts outs during their "Thankathon." These students wrote over 400 thank you cards to those who had encouraged and supported them along the way, and FVL and members of our family were included in those shout outs!
